This article will give you an overview of making all the gold you need without cheats or having to buy it. Focusing on gathering gold can make leveling a little slower so using a good World of Warcraft gold guide will save a lot of time.

Its essential to have gold in WoW for many of the things will need to buy such as a mount or gear and training. Some will advise you to use gathering professions right from the beginning to make gold. Three other methods for getting gold are flipping what you’ve gathered in the Auction House, grinding, or using some professions. You could take this advice and do well, but read on and at least consider taking this 3 step approach.

Step 1: 1 Level 80 Character

Initially, focus on getting at least one level 80 character. You don’t really need gold to level a character to 80, and the gear you’ll need will constantly change as you level. Now you will need some gold for things such as buying a mount, but you should be able to gather this just by questing. If follow the right approach you could earn up to 8000g at the end of all this.

Step 2: Farming for Gold

In this step a gathering profession will be good to have such as Mining or Herbalism.

Knowing the right place to farm is critical at this stage. The reason being that farming zones can be class and profession specific.

Step 3: Auction House
