With the release of The Wrath of the Lich King the number of levels in WoW is now 80, and they vary depending on your character. Questing is still one of the fastest and best leveling methods. You’ll get more powerful as you level up using questing.

To compare a quest to your current level just refer to its color coding. The biggest benefits to leveling and experience will come from the harder quests. Quest Color Codes:

• Gray- These are trivial and you should just skip them.
• Green- Easy
• Yellow- Normal
• Orange- Hard
• Red- Very Hard

Having a WoW leveling guide is the best and fastest way to quest. But whatever you do stick to one region completing as many quests as you can until they either become too difficult or you can’t find groups to complete. Then you can move on to other regions.

Don’t fall into the trap of thinking you have to do all the quests you find. Doing this is probably less than optimal. Stick to a particular area until the only quests are gray and green ones. At this point it would be better for both your leveling and experience points to move on to harder quests.

Before starting a quest make sure it’s for your class, as some quests are only for certain classes.

Leveling is best accomplished when you follow a good quest order rather than bouncing from quest to quest or region to region.
