The buildings in Farmville are made with a number of purposes in mind. The Chicken Coop is a perfect example of a functional building since it can store up to 20 chickens for the farmer. Chickens have a probability of giving Mystery Eggs in this coop, a extremely sought-after item that you cannot obtain in any other way while in this coop.  The Tea House or Pagoda are examples of buildings that are simply decorative. Recently, Toolsheds and Barns have been given the ability to store items around the farm that you may no longer want to display anymore but still don’t like to put up for sale. Up to 2 objects can be kept in a Toolshed while Barns can stow as much as 8. Never use your area unwisely, instead utilize it on useful items.

The Garden Shed can be used to hold your perfect bunches of flowers. Keep your perfect bunches of flowers fresh in here and bring them out only when you want toput them as decorations . You may also give perfect bunches of flowers stored in your Garden Shed to your Farmville neighbors. The Garden Shed can hold up to 25 perfect bunches.

Animal Buildings

The first ever animal storage building to appear was the Dairy Barn, which houses up to 20 cows. This building enables the farmer to harvest all 20 cows instantly, as well as keeping them in smaller amout of space than merely placing the cows on your land. Additionally, special cows such as Alien Cows and Brown Cows can be held in this barn. However, their heads which is visible from outside of the structure wont be match the real colors of the cows. Chicken Coop is the newest animal storage building. The Chicken Coop, much similar the barn, can store 20 chickens and allows you to harvest them all at once. The ability to give Mystery Eggs is a very wonderful feature of this structure. Each time you harvest, there is a probability for a message to pop up on your farm and let you know that you’ve found “Mystery Eggs”.  The color of eggs will depend on the color the color of the chickens you’ve placed in your coop.From white chickens, you will be able to get Premium White Mystery Eggs.These will generally hatch into more white chickens, still you there is a chance to get a Brown Chicken, a Black Chicken, a Golden Chicken, or a surprise item like a Flamingo decoration.Here is a suggestion:Keep your most unique chickens inside your coop.
